Michaela Moonsamy Yellepan, a 27-year-old newlywed with dreams of a future full of love and adventure, was tragically shot and killed during a night out in Boksburg on May 18. In an unexpected altercation outside Classic India restaurant, Michaela’s life was cut short just six months after her marriage.
Her brother, Jeremy, recalled the heartbreaking moment when Michaela spoke her last words. Despite the attempts to save her, Michaela succumbed to her injuries in his arms. This senseless violence has left her family devastated, with justice still uncertain as legal proceedings unfold.
