The Eikenhof community is in shock following the tragic discovery of the bodies of Hester Flemming (52) and her 82-year-old mother, Cecilia Johanna Flemming, in a mineshaft on Monday, October 28. These two women were brutally murdered after a violent farm attack and robbery on the night of October 27-28.
The suspects, who initially targeted the farm in the early hours of the morning, stole valuables and two vehicles, before abducting the two women. Law enforcement agencies have arrested three suspects in connection with the case, with one linked directly to the crime and already appearing in court.
