Discussion: How films and TV shows reflect society
Indiana-born model/actor turned self-taught filmmaker Bo Roberts, was driven to filmmaking through his interest in psychology. On the heels of 17 short films, Roberts took the opportunity in 2021 to make a feature film, "The Great Awakening," which was acquired by Filmhub and is currently available on multiple streaming platforms, including tubiTV.
From the pages of GQ, Cosmo, and Esquire, to the silver screen ("300: Rise of an Empire", "Mindy Project," etc.), Indian-born, ISU-grad, former corrections officer/CERT Team member, filmmaker Bo Roberts elevated his photography hobby to a career as a filmmaker. The director/cinematographer's debut (short) feature film (60min), "The Great Awakening" is a thriller with science-fiction elements.
