MDNTV calls for fundraiser toward unbiased, independent voice

Major Daughter, President, MDNTV made the observations as one of the top media leaders in the online space formally declared March as its fundraising month in a bid to garner financial support for increased quality and unbiased reportage. 

She reassured, “Those of you who have patiently journeyed with us this far since we set sail in 2019 would have realized that our channel have continued to keep our pledge to the people, changing lives one story at a time. MDNTV has traversed the digital landscape to bring you global news and views you can identify with and even with this, we remain faithfully independent and proudly South African.” 

At MDNTV, Daughter said, “ we are still flying our flag, in honor and high, to the great ideal of giving voice to the ordinary people in a world where news is continually skewed in favor of ‘he that pays the piper.’” 

In light of this, MDNTV chose March 2024 to take a giant step to match its aspirations with the desires of satisfying its fast growing audience and readers; it launched a fundraising campaign as a measure of the confidence in its community as partners in progress.

Truly, and without any fear of bias and contradiction, MDNTV has been increasingly shinning the light as it carves out its niches and nurture them jealously by the day – talk of the coverage in the judicial process and administration, human interest stories that touch hearts, religious news coverage that takes you beyond the physical boundaries of the nation and current affairs of international scope.
