on TikTok, propelling Jay Music into digital stardom with over 4 million views to date. As he gears up for the release of his compilation mix named after live mixes called ‘Sky Heaven Nights with Jay Music.’
Jay Music collaborates with Tremic-Dah-Rockstar and RosyGold to present this triptych compilation mix. "It's a fusion of our diverse musical influences," Jay explains. "Expect a blend of Amapiano with elements from other genres like Gqom, Hip- Hop, and R&B in this Sky Heaven Compilation mix EP." Hailing from Jeffrey's Bay in the Eastern Cape, Jaydene Coetzee (aka Jay Music) relocated to Port Elizabeth to pursue studies in Music and Composition at Boston Campus. Following his graduation, Jay's musical endeavours were recognised by industry stalwarts like Uncle Waffles and Mellow-and-Sleazy. In 2023, Jay Music moved to Johannesburg and signed with Sky Heaven record company.
He recorded his EP, 'Deep Grove Vol. 1' and embarked on a successful tour of the UK and Europe, showcasing his music at clubs across the continents.
