Christian leaders challenge Biden Administration to defend Israel in war with Iran
Laurie Cardoza Moore, President, Proclaiming Justice to The Nations, is uniting with 150 Christian leaders to confront Congress and the Biden Administration to demand they stand with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and our Jewish brethren in a show of support as Israel continues to wage war against Hamas.
In a show of unity with Israel, 150 Christian leaders representing millions of Christians around the world are descending on the nation’s capital much like the biblical account of “Aaron and Hur” who stood and lifted Moses’ hands to ensure victory over Amalek.
In that biblical story, when Moses’ hands were raised over the battlefield where the armies of Israel and Amalek were engaged in battle, God gave Israel victory. But when Moses became weary and his hands lowered, Amalek prevailed. PJTN is a leading global Christian Zionist organization and will be going to stand at Israel’s side to lift our brother’s arms to ensure victory at this critical time in history.
We know that radical Islamists, like the Iranian regime, have made it abundantly clear that they are going after Israel and America. In fact, Iran warned the U.S. to stay out of the conflict.
She stated that, “we the people have a message to the Iranian leader and their proxies, we will not back down. We will stand shoulder to shoulder to fight this war against the terrorist regime, just like we did following 9/11.”
Moore contacted Tennessee Congressman Mark Green, Chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security to express her concerns about the Biden Administration’s policies regarding this conflict.
Congressman Green stated; “The Biden Administration’s bowing to the radical wing of his party on Israel is shameful and does not represent the vast majority of the American people, who are proud to stand with Israel. Every member of Congress – representatives of the people – must stand up to Biden and make clear that our constituents are on the side of our indispensable ally, Israel, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. We must stand by them until the evil that is Hamas is defeated.”
In Zechariah 8:23, the LORD told the prophet; “He who touches Israel, touches the apple of God’s eye.” True Bible believing Christians know that our nation will come under severe judgment by the Almighty Himself if we curse Israel. In Genesis 12:3 God told Abraham; “I will bless those who bless you and curse him who curses you. And the Hebrew translation of the rest of that verse says, “And he who ignores you (Israel), I will utterly destroy.”
Moore warned, “God sent an ominous warning sign to America on April 8th with a solar eclipse that crossed the nation. It is why Jews and Christians, people of faith and people of conscience must stand side-by-side with our Jewish brethren and all Israel for such a time as this, for if we do not, His judgment shall surely come.”
"Biden Weakness Empowers Iran, Threatens Israel,” says Dr. Bradley-Farrell
President Joe Biden’s weaknesses and prevarications have proven to be the tonic that Iran needed to attack Israel, a key ally of the United States, in light of the threat it has been facing as a nation. And these have played into the hands of Iran.
This perception of the US president was expressed by Dr. Shea Bradley-Farrell, President, Counterpoint Institute for Policy, Research, and Education (CIPRE), who insists Biden created the conditions permitting Iran’s aerial assault on Israel.
Biden’s appeasement and financial support of Iran, as well as his support of Hamas’ lies and propaganda, has emboldened the enemies of democracy and civilization, she said. Bradley-Farrellheld that Biden takes these positions against Israel, in large part, to win votes in key electoral districts of Michigan for the November 2024 presidential election.
She said trading the security of the United States and a key ally for electioneering stunts is loathsome and dangerous adding there should be “no daylight” between the U.S. and Israel when it comes to its safety, protecting its sovereignty, and eliminating the terrorists that seek its complete demise.
Bradley – Farrell, author of Last Warning to the West: Hungary's Triumph Over Communism and the Woke Agenda concluded: "My time spent on Israel’s borders learning from intelligence and military experts (while Hamas lobbed rockets over Gaza’s borders), impressed upon me a very important fact: Israelis live under the daily threat of elimination on all sides—from both nation states and terrorists. Not only is Israel our ally and friend, but Israel also acts as a huge deterrent to complete instability and chaos in the Middle East."
Battle for the Dash, NRB President Miller replies WSJ editorial board
National Religious Broadcasters, NRB, President and CEO TroyMiller wrote that the tussle for vehicles’ dashboard and the AM radio calls for closer attention.
In a response to the Wall Street Journal, WSJ, editorial board's recent article “Coming Soon: An AM Radio Mandate,” Miller says “Opposition to the AM For Every Vehicle Act isn’t about keeping dollars in drivers’ wallets. If you think automakers’ goal is to yank AM radio, blame it on a subpar listening experience, and go no further, think again. He says “It’s about driving those dollars to the dashboard.”
The Wall Street Journal editorial board published a piece titled “Coming Soon: An AM Radio Mandate” late March 2024. In its negative evaluation of the AM For Every Vehicle Act, the editorial board skims over key details.
The board writes: “Some auto makers have dropped AM radio from EV models because their components can interfere with signals. The companies can mitigate electromagnetic interference with cables, filters and other materials… But these involve engineering trade-offs that can increase manufacturing costs.”
Sounds scary, but the federal number crunchers at the Congressional Budget Office concluded that “the unit costs of those updates are small” and noted that while the Department of Transportation would be authorized to assess civil penalties for noncompliance, it would likely collect very little.
The board further writes that AM is one of “multiple, redundant communication modes” that the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) uses to send out public alerts in times of emergency, and that the chance is “miniscule” that drivers wouldn’t be able to access vital safety information.
Ex-FEMA chiefs who have advocated for this legislation would beg to differ. In a Feb. 24 op-ed, former FEMA head Pete Gaynor warned Americans to consider the possibility of a future attack on U.S. communications infrastructure.
“It would be malpractice for the government to allow a few companies to take away its most effective means of keeping the public informed,” Gaynor wrote.
The editorial board contends that “Congress’s AM radio mandate will increase the cost of EVs, which auto makers will offset by raising prices on gas-powered cars.”
What does the editorial board believe automakers are planning to do with the valuable dashboard real estate they reclaim from radio? Keep prices down and load up the dash with other free services? Certainly not. The future of the auto dash is a buffet of monetized subscription services at best—and serious consumer disadvantages at worst.
In a video feature called “Apple, Google, GM and the $1.5 Trillion Battle for the Car Dashboard,” WSJ video correspondent George Downs reported, “Traditional automakers plan on using this space to sell a suite of features and services in a market that some analysts estimate will be worth $1.5 trillion by 2030.”
NRB President Calls for Solidarity with Israel
National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) President and CEO Troy A. Miller has issued a statement of solidarity with Israel and appreciation for international cooperation to defend Israel against Iranian attacks of recent days.
The following statement is attributable to Miller: "NRB stands with Israel. We are relieved and grateful that international cooperation, supported largely by the progress facilitated by the Abraham Accords, led to the protection of Israel against Iranian attacks, thwarting Iran’s plans for death and destruction. We urge continued U.S. solidarity with Israel and invite all Christians to join us in praying for peace in the region."
