TV Actor, Presenter, Radio broadcaster, and social media influencer Khaya Dladla will bid farewell to regional commercial radio station Gagasi FM after 6 years. Fondly known to listeners as “The Favourite Queer of the airwaves”, he will bid farewell to his popular drive time show Gagasi fm Drive on March 29.
Khaya first joined the station in 2018, growing from the station's weekend shows to hosting the Breakfast & Drive Time show. Khaya leaves Gagasi FM to focus on broadening his horizons and expanding his brand nationally and internationally also realigning his brand value with like-minded brands. Khaya would like to extend his gratitude to Gagasi FM & their listerners for trusting his talent. He also would like to thank all the numerous clients he worked with during this time. It was a pleasure bringing life to all the campaigns.
Khaya had this to say about his departure “It pains me that i find myself in a posistion where, i have had to leave a brand that i fell inlove with years ago due the non-conducive environment. The trajectory of my personal brand is no longer aligned with that of the station, however I would like to thank every single person who made my journey at Gagasi FM a fruitful one, from the visionaries that appreciated my talent and invited me to join Gagasi FM to the amazing talent i had the pleasure of working with, Dj Vumar thank you for welcoming me with open arms, Mfundo Mabaso, Felix Hlophe, Njabs Zwane, Dj Flair for an amazing breakfast show. A Big thanks to The Gagasi FM Drive Team from Kwazi Khoza, Mfundo Zwane, Frank Ndimande, Zisto, and Heazy. All the great on-air personalities who brought so much flavour and colour to this brand.
